There is also a Japanese garden, Toda tribal village, and a fossil tree, which is believed to be about 20 million years old. The gardens are perfect for leisurely walks and family picnics.

    Ooty Lake is a serene spot amidst the bustling tourist spots of Ooty. The picturesque surroundings and activities like boating and horse riding make it a popular family spot. The lake is surrounded by tall Eucalyptus trees, offering stunning views.

  3. Day 2: Doddabetta Peak
    30 minutes (11 km) from Ooty Lake

    At an elevation of 2,623 meters, the Doddabetta Peak is the highest point in Ooty. The breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding hills and valleys is worth a visit. The observatory at Doddabetta peak is another popular attraction that lets you view the region from a telescope that's over 100 years old. It is the perfect place to click some Instagram-worthy pictures with your family.

  4. Day 2: Thread Garden
    20 minutes (6.8 km) from Doddabetta Peak

    The Thread Garden is a unique attraction that showcases handcrafted artwork made entirely out of thread. The thread is wound in different ways to create various designs of plants, flowers, and other objects. It's incredible to see the level of detail achieved by using only thread. The perfect place to pick up some souvenirs for your loved ones back home.
