Explore the unique hexagonal basalt rock formations on St. Mary's Island. Take a ferry from Malpe Beach and spend around 2 hours on the island. The mesmerizing views of the Arabian Sea and the geological wonders make it a great place for photography.
Visit the eight Mathas that form the Sri Krishna Matha complex, which is one of the major Hindu religious centers in Udupi. Experience the beautiful architecture and take part in the various religious activities that happen throughout the day. The Matha is open from 5 am to 9 pm.
Relax on the serene Kaup Beach and take a stroll along the shore. Visit the Kaup Lighthouse for the panoramic coastal view and watch the sunset. The lighthouse is open from 5 pm to 7 pm. The beach is open to visitors 24 hours.
If you have more time, you can visit the Anegudde Vinayaka Temple or the Kudlu Falls. If you have less time, opt for a quick trip to either the St. Mary's Island or Kaup Beach and Lighthouse.
