Your first day in Vrindavan is all about exploring the different temples that the city has to offer. Start your day by visiting the famous Shri Banke Bihari Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Krishna. Next, head to the Shri Radha Raman Temple which has a unique deity of Lord Krishna with Radha Rani. The third stop is the grand Shri Krishna Balaram temple which is very popular among visitors. After this, head to ISKCON Vrindavan to visit the beautiful Radha Madanmohan temple, partake in the daily aarti, and enjoy prasadam. Finally, visit the breathtakingly beautiful Prem Mandir with its elaborate architecture and mesmerizing light show, which is a must-visit at night.
On the second day of your trip, visit the historical city of Mathura, which according to Hindu mythology is the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Start the day by visiting the Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple Complex, which includes the famous Dwarkadhish Temple, which is believed to be more than 2500 years old. After this, head to the Government Museum Mathura to see ancient artifacts and sculptures related to the life and times of Lord Krishna. Next, visit Kans Qila, which is a fort built by Raja Mansingh to protect the city from external invasions. Finally, visit the Birla Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna and his beloved Radha. The intricate carvings and beautiful architecture of the temple are a sight to behold.
If you have an extra day, visit the beautiful Gokul city near Mathura to witness the beautiful Chandan Yatra celebrations. If you have less than two days, consider skipping a few places like Kans Qila and Government Museum Mathura.
