Spend the first day exploring Old Manali, a peaceful village dotted with quaint cafes and colourful markets. Start with a morning visit to the Hadimba Devi Temple, an ancient wooden shrine dedicated to the goddess Hadimba. Then head to Manu Temple, one of the only temples dedicated to the sage Manu. Walk around the picturesque streets of Old Manali, visit the Manali Sanctuary, and spend your evening at Café 1947, known for its live music and authentic cuisine.
Spend a day at the majestic Rohtang Pass and behold the magnificent view of the Himalayas. Take a thrilling ride to the top of the pass on a rented bike or car and enjoy activities like skiing, snowboarding and sledding. You can also visit the nearby Solang Valley, which offers a range of adrenaline-pumping adventure activities, such as zorbing and paragliding.
Visit the Naggar Castle, an ancient castle built in the 15th century and now home to a museum. Learn about the rich history of the town and enjoy the beautiful view from the castle. After lunch, embark on a scenic drive to the Jana Waterfall, a stunning waterfall nestled in the heart of the mountains. Take a dip in the crystal-clear water and enjoy the serenity of the place.
On your final day, visit the Manali Gompa, a beautiful monastery famous for its serene atmosphere and vibrant culture. Take a stroll around the prayer hall and witness the traditional rituals. Then head to the Mall Road, a bustling street filled with restaurants, shops and cafes. Indulge in some shopping, savour the local cuisine and bid adieu to the beautiful town of Manali.
If you have more than 4 days, you can explore places like Beas Kund Trek, Hampta Pass Trek or Bhrigu Lake Trek. Additionally, you can visit Vashisht Hot Water Springs and Van Vihar National Park, which are easily accessible from Manali. But if you have less than 4 days, you can skip Jana Waterfall and plan a shorter trip to Rohtang Pass or Solang Valley.
