The Hadimba Devi Temple is one of the most famous temples in Manali, situated in the middle of dense cedar forests and surrounded by snow-capped mountains. The temple architecture is unique and is dedicated to Hidimbi Devi, the wife of Bhima and mother of Ghatotkacha.
Visit the picturesque Solang Valley known as the adventure hub of Manali. The valley is surrounded by snow-capped mountains, glaciers, and beautiful greenery. Activities to enjoy are skiing, zip-lining, paragliding, ATV rides, and snow-tubing during winters.
Jogini Waterfall is a beautiful fall situated 3km away from Vashisht Village. The 2 hours trek to the fall is through the lush greenery and beautiful apple orchards. Once you reach the waterfall, the sound of the water and mesmerizing view will make you forget all pain encountered during the trek.
The Manali Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in the mountains and is the perfect place for all nature lovers. The sanctuary consists of various flora and fauna and visitors can spot rare animals like the Himalayan Black Bear, Himalayan Palm Civet, Flying Squirrel, and many more. Visitors can enjoy a nature walk and bird watching here.
Manali has many other places like Vashisht hot springs, Naggar Castle, Rohtang pass, and many more. If you have more time, you can add these places to the itinerary. If you have less time, you can skip Manali Wildlife Sanctuary. It is recommended to hire a local guide/cab to explore these places smoothly and comfortably.
