Useful tips

If you have more time, consider adding Everest Base Camp trek, Lumbini birthplace of Buddha, Swayambhunath stupa, or Bhaktapur Durbar Square. For a shorter trip, focus on Kathmandu Valley, or only trek to one destination in the Himalayas. Keep in mind that many places are closed during off-season (June to August). Be prepared for altitude sickness, and hire a licensed guide for your safety.
