Vasuki Tal is a high altitude lake located at an altitude of 4,150 meters above sea level in the Kedarnath region. The trek to Vasuki Tal is steep and strenuous but worth it. With the surrounding mountains, this beautiful lake is a spectacle to behold.
Auli, located near Kedarnath, is one of the most beautiful and pristine ski resorts in India. Surrounded by oak forests and snowcapped mountains, it offers a thrilling skiing experience. Auli is open throughout the year and provides skiing gear on rent.
If you have more time, you can visit the Chandrashila trek, a four-day trek located in the Himalayas that offers an exquisite sunrise view. Alternatively, you can spend an additional day exploring local cuisines, visiting Guptakashi, or going on short hikes. In case you have less time, skip Auli as it involves significant travel time.
