Begin your adventure by exploring the Trinity Forest Adventure Park, which offers over 20 zip lines and an incredible aerial obstacle course. Get a panoramic view of the forest and challenge yourself with varying degrees of difficulty as you navigate the courses.
Spend your second day at White Rock Lake, where there are plenty of activities to choose from. You can hike, bike or rollerblade on the 10 mile trail, kayak or paddleboard on the lake, or enjoy a picnic by the water. If you want to catch fish, you can get a license and enjoy the sport while taking in the scenic beauty.
End your trip by visiting the famous Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. You will be stunned by the beautiful flowers, lakes, and fountains in this 66-acre garden. You can also visit the Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden, play in the misty sprays, and enjoy the interactive exhibits that teach children about nature.
For an extended adventure, you can add places like the Reunion Tower GeO-Deck, the State Fair of Texas, the Adventure Landing, and the Dallas World Aquarium. If you have more time, you can add a visit to Six Flags Over Texas Amusement Park or AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. If you have less time, you can exclude the Trinity Forest Adventure Park, or visit only part of the White Rock Lake trail.
