Irrupu Falls, also known as Lakshmana Tirtha Falls, is a spectacular waterfall located in the Brahmagiri mountain range. This family-friendly location has well-maintained pathways that lead to the foot of the waterfall. Visitors can enjoy taking a dip in the pristine waters or just relax on the rocks while taking in the stunning view.
Dubare Elephant Camp is an exciting location where visitors can engage with elephants and see them up close. Visitors are given a chance to bathe, feed and interact with elephants as well as learn about their behaviour. Situated on the banks of the river Cauvery, visitors can also opt for river rafting which is available at an additional cost.
If you have more time, visit the Nagarhole National Park for a jungle safari, or if you have less time, visit the Talacauvery temple which is 45 minutes from Coorg. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes with a good grip, especially if you plan on visiting the Irrup Falls, and bring insect repellent as mosquitoes can be a nuisance.
