Ooty Lake is a charming artificial lake near the hills, which was created in 1824. It is an ideal location to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and relax amidst nature. Visitors can pedal boat on the lake, which is extremely relaxing. Early in the morning is the perfect time to enjoy the morning sunshine and fresh air. A visit to Ooty Lake isn't complete without enjoying a hot cup of tea or coffee on the lake's banks.
Doddabetta Peak stands at an altitude of 2,637 meters, making it the highest peak in the Nilgiri Hills. The trek is an easy and enjoyable one, and the view from the peak is breathtaking, offering a panoramic view of the entire Ooty Valley. It's the perfect location to watch the sunrise or sunset and enjoy nature at its best. Should you be lucky to visit during the extended monsoon months, you can see the gorgeous array of flora and fauna native to the region on the mountain slope.

Additionally, you can take toy train trips from Udagamandalam, Coonoor to enjoy the stunning mountain scenery. On the other side, you can cut the visit to the Botanical Garden short if you're short of time. Lastly, remember to carry warm clothes with you, as the weather in Ooty is chilly throughout the year.
