Start your trip with one of the most scenic beaches in Gokarna. Relax, sunbathe, and take a dip in the crystal-clear water. You can also indulge in beachside activities like banana boat ride and parasailing.
Visit the famous Om Beach, which is shaped like the symbol of ‘Om’. With its serene setting and picturesque beauty, it’s an ideal location for trekking and exploring the surrounding areas. After exploring Om Beach, head to Half Moon Beach, which is quieter and more secluded for some relaxing time.
Experience some spirituality with the visit to Mahabaleshwara Temple, situated on the banks of the Arabian Sea and dedicated to Lord Shiva. After that, make your way to Maha Ganapati Temple, one of the oldest temples in Gokarna, which features an 8 ft-high statue of Lord Ganapati carved out of a single stone.
Take a day to explore nature and spend time at Vibhuti Falls. Enjoy the scenic surroundings, trek to the waterfall, and take a plunge in the cool water. After that, head to Kudle Beach, known for its white sands and clear blue waters.
End your trip on a historical note with a visit to the Mirjan Fort, an ancient fort which was once used to defend Gokarna from various invaders. After that, head to Kumta Beach, another peaceful and secluded beach, to bask in the beauty of the Arabian Sea one last time before you depart.
If you have extra time, you can add a visit to the Karwar Beach or Gokarna Forest Reserve to the itinerary. If you have less time, you can skip visiting Vibhuti Falls and spend more time at other beaches or temples instead.
