Spend the day exploring the Botanical Garden, which is spread over 55 acres of land and houses over 650 species of plants and trees. Be sure to check out the fossilized tree trunk, which is estimated to be over 20 million years old. The garden also offers a range of outdoor activities, such as badminton and Frisbee.
Finish off the trip with a visit to Doddabetta Peak, which is the highest point in the Nilgiri Mountains. Take in the panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and hills, and be sure to visit the telescope house for a close-up look at the scenery. If you're feeling adventurous, try the trek up to the peak.
If you have more time, consider checking out the Toy Train Ride or the Government Rose Garden, which houses over 20,000 varieties of roses. If you have less time, skip the Botanical Garden and head straight to Doddabetta Peak for stunning views.
