The 2-hour trek to the lake, passing through the lush greenery and gushing waterfalls, will reward you with the breathtaking beauty of the serene lake surrounded by mountains.
Hike or drive to the highest point in the Nilgiris, the Ooty Doddabetta Peak, standing tall at an altitude of 8,650 feet. Take a detour to Pykara Falls, just 20 minutes from the lake, to witness the astonishing waterfall cascading down through the rocky terrain.
Visit the colourful and aromatic Rose Garden, located near the Ooty Town bus stand. The garden is home to over 20,000 varieties of roses, making it India's largest rose garden. Take a relaxing stroll through the well-manicured garden adorned with beautiful rose sculptures and fountains.
