    Bryant Park boasts an impressive collection of flowers and plants and is a great place to spend a few hours with family. The garden has multiple sections including a fern house, a glasshouse, and a section of hybrid roses and dahlias. Bryant Park also hosts an annual flower show that attracts botany enthusiasts from around the world. Apart from its beautiful flora and fauna, the park is an ideal spot for a picnic and for kids to play games.

  3. Day 1: Coakers Walk

    Coakers Walk is a scenic, one-kilometre paved pedestrian path on the southern edge of Kodaikanal. The walk offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding valley and the nearby hills. The best time to visit Coakers Walk is in the evening when the mist settles over the hills creating an ethereal ambience. The plaques along the path give information on the surrounding hills and history of the area making it an educational experience as well.

  4. Day 2: Pillar Rocks
    20 minutes (7.5 km) from Kodaikanal Bus Stand

    Pillar Rocks is a popular rock formation comprising three granite boulders standing vertically shoulder-to-shoulder. The viewpoint offers stunning views of the surrounding valley and the small stream that flows through it. It is a popular spot among adventure seekers for mountain climbing, trekking and rappelling.

  5. Day 2: Guna Cave

    Guna Cave, also known as Devil's Kitchen, is an ancient cave located between the three pillars. The natural marvel presents a thrilling experience for those looking to explore the depths of the Earth. The cave is seven meters deep and has several entry points. Take a torch or rent one and enter the cave, but be careful! The rocks are slippery and the air inside the cave can be damp and suffocating.

If you have an extra day to spare, we recommend visiting Bear Shola Falls, Silver Cascade Falls, a boat ride to Vattakanal Falls or a visit to Kurinji Andavar Temple. However, if you have only one day in Kodaikanal, it is best to stick to the main tourist hotspots of the city. We suggest keeping a day bag with comfortable clothes and shoes, water bottles, snacks, and a light jacket as the temperature may drop in the evenings. Try to avoid visiting during the weekends or public holidays when the tourist rush is high.
