Going on a 2-Day Trip to Kodaikanal

  1. Day 1: Coaker's Walk
10 minutes (3 km) from Kodaikanal Bus Stand

Coaker's Walk is a narrow pedestrian pathway that winds around the edge of the hill station, offering stunning views of the valley below. The walk is around 1 kilometre long and takes about an hour to complete at a leisurely pace. The gentle sloping pathway is lined with tall trees and benches, which provide visitors with plenty of opportunities to pause and admire the scenery. On a clear day, the views from Coaker's Walk stretch for miles around and include the Vaigai Dam, Berijam Lake, and the Periyakulam town.

  2. Day 2: Pillar Rocks

The Pillar Rocks are three massive granite boulders that stand majestically in a clearing, each rising to a height of over 100 metres. Visitors can take a short hike to a viewing platform that offers panoramic views of the rugged countryside and the pillar rocks. There is also a small park area nearby, which provides opportunities to sit and relax amidst scenic surroundings.
