Visit the beautiful Pykara Waterfall, the perfect spot for a picnic. Take a boat ride on the Pykara lake and indulge in some local cuisine at the nearby restaurants.
Surrounded by a lush forest, it is a great spot for trekking and camping for the adventurous ones. It is an amazing spot to relax and take in the sights and sounds of nature.
If you have an extra day, you can visit the government-run Rose Garden which is a 10 minute (2 km) ride from the botanical garden. If you’re travelling with kids, the Ooty Toy Train offers a scenic ride through the Nilgiri hills. However, if you have a tighter schedule you can skip Pykara and Avalanche lake and opt to visit the tea museum and factory instead.
