Ooty: A 3-Day Nature Lover's Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Ooty Botanical Gardens
    10 minutes (2.6 km) from Ooty Lake

    The Ooty Botanical Gardens is spread over 55 hectares and serves as home to a diverse range of plants, shrubs, ferns, and trees. You'll also find some beautiful Italian-style garden, Japanese garden, and Fountain Terrace Garden inside the Botanical Garden. The fragrant rose garden is another highlight of the garden.

  2. Day 2: Doddabetta Peak
    11 minutes (4.1 km) from Ooty Botanical Gardens

    Doddabetta Peak offers one of the best viewpoints in Ooty, with views extending as far as Mysore on a clear day. Trek up to the summit, or take the jeep ride. You can also visit the Telescope House at the summit for a closer look at the Nilgiri Mountain Range.

  3. Day 3: Pykara Waterfalls
    1 hour (23.5 km) from Doddabetta Peak

    The Pykara Waterfalls is a must-visit attraction in Ooty, surrounded by lush greenery and towering pine trees. The waterfall has a height of about 55 meters and is a visual treat for nature lovers. You can also take a boat ride on the Pykara Lake and witness the serene beauty of the place.
