Start your day with a visit to the Kailasagiri Hill Park to enjoy a panoramic view of the city from the hilltop. The park is surrounded by landscaped gardens, and has several attractions, such as the Shanku Chakra Naama and the Floral Clock. Spend a few hours exploring the park, and then head to the INS Kurusura Submarine Museum to learn about India's maritime history. The museum displays the INS Kurusura, a decommissioned submarine which served the Indian Navy for over 30 years.
After a morning of sightseeing, spend the afternoon relaxing at the Yarada Beach. This secluded beach is known for its scenic beauty and is an ideal spot for swimming and sunbathing. Head back towards the city, and stop by the Rishikonda Beach, which is popular for its water sports activities such as wind surfing, water skiing, and jet skiing.
Start your second day with a visit to Visakha Museum to explore the history and culture of Andhra Pradesh. The museum has several galleries showcasing pottery, weapons, coins, and musical instruments among other exhibits. After the museum, head to the Ramakrishna Beach, which is popular among tourists and locals alike. Take a stroll along the beach and enjoy the view, or try some of the local street food.
For your final day, head to the Simhachalam Temple, a 13th century Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Narasimha. The temple is situated on a hill, and has stunning architecture and intricate carvings. After the temple, make your way to the Lawson's Bay Beach. This beautiful beach is popular with locals, and has a scenic walking track, as well as several eateries and ice cream shops.
If you have more time, you can add a trip to the Borra Caves, a natural wonder located about 90 km from the city. If you have less time, consider skipping one of the beaches. Remember to wear sunscreen and stay hydrated, as the weather can get hot and humid in Vishakapatnam.
