Visit the trendy district of Trastevere, and wander its winding streets, enjoying the beautiful buildings, street art, and some of the best food in Rome. Later, head to Testaccio known for its nightlife, museums, and street food scene. Enjoy a pizza from Pizzeria Remo, a hit with the locals, or enjoy the classic Roman street food, supplì, from Mordi e Vai.
Visit the beautiful gardens and stunning art collection at the Villa Borghese, where you can see works by Bernini, Caravaggio, and Raphael. After, head to the Monti district, and browse small boutiques, enjoy the street art and have a coffee in one of the many cafés. Relax and enjoy aperitivo at Bottega Monti, a trendy bar that serves excellent cocktails, or head to the Enoteca Provincia Romana where you can find excellent wine and a knowledgeable staff.
If you have more time, consider taking a day trip to the ancient city of Pompeii. If you have less time, consider trimming your itinerary, or extending your stay.
