You can enjoy the misty spray and gorgeous view of the falls from the hanging bridge. The falls are at their best during the monsoon season. The sound of the waterfall amidst the serene surroundings makes it a perfect place to sit and relax for a while.
If you have additional time, you can visit Raja's Seat, a spectacular picnic spot near Madikeri. The Madikeri Fort, Omkareshwara Temple, and Talacauvery are also worth visiting but may require a full day. If you have less time, you can skip the coracle ride at Dubare Elephant Camp. It is advisable to carry insect repellent as the falls area can have mosquitoes.
