Get the adrenaline pumping at the Kappil Beach with a range of water sports, including jet skiing, parasailing, and banana boat rides. The beach is also known for its scenic backwaters. At night, go bar-hopping at Black Beach Lounge.
Spend the day relaxing at the Kerala Ayurveda Spa and pamper yourselves with a range of Ayurvedic massages and treatments. Then, head to the popular Janardhanaswamy Temple and indulge in some souvenir shopping at the markets nearby.
If you have more time, add a visit to the nearby Anjengo Fort which is surrounded by beautiful backwaters. If you have less time, skip the shopping at Janardhanaswamy Temple and head straight to the airport, which is around an hour's drive from Varkala. Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes and carry a water bottle during trekking and water sports.
