4-Day OOTY Itinerary for Adventure Lovers

  1. Day 1: Ooty Lake
    10 minutes (3.8 km) from Ooty Bus Stand

    Start your adventure with a visit to Ooty Lake, a man-made lake surrounded by eucalyptus, pine, and other trees. Enjoy boating and paddle boating, or take a horse ride around the lake. Be sure to catch the stunning sunset here.

Take a relaxing stroll through the garden, enjoying the fresh air, and the colourful flowers.

  3. Day 3: Pykara Falls
    1 hour (21 km) from Ooty Botanical Gardens

    After breakfast, head to Pykara Falls, located amidst lush greenery and rolling hills. The falls offer a serene spot for picnics and nature walks, with the gushing water and the misty atmosphere providing a refreshing experience. You can also visit the Pykara Lake nearby, which offers boating activities.

  4. Day 4: Doddabetta Peak
    50 minutes (10 km) from Pykara Falls

    Climb atop the Doddabetta Peak, the highest peak in the Nilgiri Mountains range and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The peak is around 10 km from the city center, and a drive through lush tea plantations and tranquil forests makes for a great experience. You can also visit the Doddabetta Tea Factory and Museum to learn about tea processing and taste some of the finest Ooty tea.
