Rishikesh Itinerary: Finding Peace Amongst the Himalayas

  1. Day 1: Triveni Ghat
Located in the heart of Rishikesh, 5 minutes (800m) from Ram Jhula

Triveni Ghat is a divine location where the three mightiest rivers- Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati- combine. Take a dip in the holy water, feel the divine energy around the ghat, and enjoy the blissful Ganga aarti in the evening.

  2. Day 1: Beatles Ashram
20 minutes (5km) from Triveni Ghat

This abandoned Ashram gained its name after the British band "The Beatles" came here in 1968, to learn transcendental meditation from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Walkthrough the graffitied walls, burn some calories while trekking, and be mesmerized by the vintage color paintings at the ashram.

  3. Day 2: Neer Garh Waterfall
30 minutes (7km) from Beatles Ashram

This lesser-known waterfall is an absolute hidden treasure that very few tourists visit. Take a plunge in the refreshing waterfall, enjoy the mesmerizing view of nearby mountains, have a small picnic, and relax in the lap of nature.

  4. Day 2: Rajaji National Park
45 minutes (19km) from Neer Garh Waterfall

If you are a wildlife enthusiast, then spend your day exploring Rajaji National Park. Spotting the Bengal tiger, leopards, and Asiatic elephants is a favorable occurrence. The park has diverse flora and fauna, so bird enthusiasts are also in for a treat.
