Spend your day relaxing on the beautiful sandy Alibag Beach. Take a swim in the clear waters, soak up the sun, and enjoy the fantastic views of the Arabian Sea. Don't forget to indulge in some delicious seafood from one of the many beachside shacks.
Get away from the hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Kanakeshwar Forest. Here you can hike to the top of the hill, take in the panoramic views of the surrounding hills, and visit the Kanakeshwar Temple. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and has a beautiful water tank.
Explore the fascinating history of Alibag at the Kolaba Fort and Museum. Built in the 17th century, this fort is situated in the sea and is accessible during low tide. The museum houses a collection of old maps, black and white photographs, and historical artifacts.
If you have more time, we recommend visiting the Underi and Khanderi Forts. Both are located offshore and are accessible by ferry. If you have less time, skip Kanakeshwar Forest and Temple and explore Alibag town instead. Here you'll find local markets, temples, and restaurants serving delicious Maharashtrian cuisine.
