Transportation
While travelling, take the bus or metro. If you prefer to do it by bike, rent a Vélib, the city's bike-sharing system. Expect to pay about 1.90€ for a single metro ticket, 4€ for a one-day pass or 8€ for a week-long pass. Biking is faster and you can rent a Vélib bike for around 5€ a day.
Useful tips
If you have more time, visit the famous gardens of Giverny, where Claude Monet lived and painted his famous water lily series. It's a 90-minute train ride from Paris. If you're travelling with kids or you're a fan of amusement parks, include a visit to Disneyland Paris. If you have less time, pick your favourite parks from the itinerary and spend quality time in those places.
