Start your day by visiting the Charminar, one of the most iconic structures in Hyderabad and a sign of the city’s rich history. The Charminar was built in 1591 and has four minarets that open on four sides. Climb to the top of the monument to enjoy a panoramic view of the city. After lunch, take a 15-minute drive to the Golconda Fort. This massive fort dates back to the 13th century and is spread over an area of 11 km. Spend your second day of the honeymoon by visiting the Ramoji Film City, which is the world's largest integrated film studio complex. Stroll the European gardens in the Magic Fountain, the Sahas Adventure Zone where you can witness indoor and outdoor activities or take a tram ride and explore the popular action areas. After lunch, head to Hussain Sagar Lake, one of the largest man-made lakes in Asia. Take a romantic boat ride by the lake and watch the sunset while enjoying the scenic beauty.
If you have more time, visit the Chowmahalla Palace, a popular landmark, worth exploring or can plan to go to the Salar Jung museum that showcases a diverse collection of art and artefacts. For a more extended visit, visit the Qutub Shahi Tombs and explore the architecture and the beauty of the gardens. You can also add a day trip to the nearby town of Bidar to explore the Bidar fort and indulge the delicious local food. If you have less time, prioritize the Charminar, Golconda Fort, Ramoji Film City, and Hussain Sagar Lake to get a feel of the city.
