Head to Yercaud Lake to experience the scenic spot with boating and other activities. The view around the lake is stunning, and you can hire bicycles for kids for an hour or two. Do remember for boating, the minimum charge per boat is Rs 350/hour for 2 persons, and Rs 450/hour for 4 persons.

A trip to Yercaud isn't complete without take blessings from Shevaroy Temple. Located amidst the Shevaroy hills, the temple is known for its unique architecture and a historical deity. There is no entry fee to this temple, and while it's a religious place you can get a beautiful view of Yercaud Hills from here.
End your day by visiting the Kiliyur Falls, located deep in the Yercaud forest. Take delight in this beautiful trek amidst the hills which lead to the falls. It will take about 45 minutes to reach. Swimming and bathing under the waterfalls are an unforgettable experience, and kids will love it. A nominal charge of Rs. 20/adults & Rs 10/child as an entry fee is required. Careful while slithering over the rocks so you won't hurt yourself.
If you have more time, you might want to hike through the Yercaud Hills or visit the botanical gardens. If you have less time, skip the boating at Yercaud Lake and head directly to the restaurant for lunch. Do carry some raincoats and umbrellas because Yercaud experiences rainfall all year round. Remember to carry sunscreen too.
