Doddabetta Peak is the highest mountain in the Nilgiri Hills at an altitude of 2,637 meters. On a clear day, you can get a breathtaking panoramic view of Ooty and its surroundings. There is also a telescope house, which offers a closer view.
Government Botanical Garden is spread over 55 acres and has a wide variety of plants, trees, and flowers. The garden is well-maintained and has a fossil tree that is believed to be 20 million years old. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature's beauty.
If you have more time, you can visit other places like Coonoor and Mudumalai National Park which are nearby and offer scenic beauty and wildlife. If you have less time, you can skip Doddabetta Peak and explore other places like Pykara Lake and Emerald Lake.
