Kodaikanal 3-Day Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Coaker's Walk and Kurinji Andavar Temple
    5 minutes (0.8 km) from Kodaikanal Lake

    Coaker's Walk is a scenic promenade named after Lt. Coaker who created it in 1872. It offers stunning views of the surrounding valleys and hills. After taking in the views, head to the Kurinji Andavar Temple located nearby. This temple is dedicated to Lord Murugan and is famous for its Kurinji flower which blooms once in 12 years.

  2. Day 2: Pine Forest, Dolphin's Nose, and Bear Shola Falls
    25 minutes (8 km) from Coaker's Walk

    Start your day by exploring the Pine Forest, a serene forest with tall pine trees. Then, head to Dolphin's Nose, a viewpoint that offers a panoramic view of the surrounding hills and valleys. After enjoying the view, visit Bear Shola Falls, a picturesque waterfall surrounded by lush green forests. If you have time, you can also go boating in the nearby Kodaikanal Lake.

  3. Day 3: Pillar Rocks and Guna Cave
    15 minutes (7 km) from Bear Shola Falls

    On your last day, visit the Pillar Rocks, a set of three rock formations that rise to a height of 400 feet. Then, drive to Guna Cave, a fascinating natural cave formation that derives its name from a Tamil movie named Guna that was shot here. The cave has a narrow entrance and is filled with mysterious rock formations. End your day with some souvenir shopping in the local markets.
