Adventure Itinerary in Ooty

1. Day 1: Doddabetta Peak
   10 minutes (3.5 km) from Ooty Lake

   Doddabetta Peak is the highest peak in the Nilgiri Mountains. You can take a jeep or hike to the top and enjoy the scenic beauty. This place is also known for trekking and birdwatching. The top area has a telescope house, a small eatery, and some souvenir shops. You can spend around 2 hours here.

2. Day 2: Mudumalai National Park
   1 hour 15 minutes (45 km) from Ooty

   Located at the tri-junction of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala, Mudumalai National Park is rich in flora and fauna. It is home to tigers, leopards, elephants, and many other wildlife species. The park offers jeep safaris and elephant rides. You can spend around 3-4 hours here.

3. Day 3: Ooty Mountain Railway and Emerald Lake
   20 minutes (7 km) from Mudumalai National Park

   The Ooty Mountain Railway journey starts from Udhagamandalam and goes through tunnels, curves, and bridges offering a breathtaking view of the Nilgiri Mountains. After this, you can visit Emerald Lake, which is a serene place surrounded by tea plantations. You can do boating or fishing here. You can spend around 4-5 hours here.
