Begin your nature journey at Coakers Walk, a beautiful pathway that runs along the edge of steep slopes with stunning views of the valley below. Walk along the path and enjoy the fresh air and serene environment. Stop by the Telescope House to get a closer look at the scenery, especially during sunrise or sunset.
Start your day off by visiting the Pine Forest, a dense forest of tall pine trees that gives off a cool, fresh scent. Take a peaceful walk around the tall trees and soak in the natural beauty. Then head over to the Guna Cave, also known as the Devil’s Kitchen. This natural cave formation is hidden deep in the forest and offers a fun and adventurous experience, but remember to adhere to safety guidelines.
If you're feeling up for a trek, the Dolphin's Nose is an ideal spot for a direct view of the valley. It's a stone formation jutting out of a cliff, giving an amazing view of the surrounding environment. Leave time to take a short hike down to Pambar Falls, a natural waterfall hidden deep in the woods, where you can take a refreshing dip in the water.
If you have more time, consider visiting the Berijam Lake, located in the reserved forest area of Kodaikanal. For a shorter trip, skip either the Pine Forest or Pambar Falls and explore more of the city’s local markets and shops, or try some local cuisine.
