Three-day Itinerary for Ooty

  1. Day 1: Botanical Garden and Government Museum
    20 minutes (4.6 km) from Ooty Lake.

    Visit the Botanical Garden which covers an area of 22 hectares with over 650 species of flowers and trees followed by the Government Museum , which exhibits tribal artifacts, bronze sculptures and other historical objects.

  2. Day 2: Ooty Lake and Doddabetta Peak
    30 minutes (10.2 km) from Mukurthi National Park.

    Enjoy a boat ride at Ooty Lake. Then, head to Doddabetta Peak , the highest mountain in the Nilgiri Hills. The peak provides a scenic view of the entire valley below.

  3. Day 3: Avalanche Lake and Thread Garden
    45 minutes (27.7 km) from Pine Forest.

    Explore the picturesque Avalanche Lake followed by a visit to the unique Thread Garden which features over 150 species of plants made from thread.
