End the day with a relaxing boat ride at the picturesque Ooty Lake. The lake is surrounded by lush green hills, and the serene atmosphere offers a perfect escape from the busy town center. You can rent a paddleboat or a motorboat and spend some time on the water. A perfect way to round off a day of exploring!
If you have more time, consider visiting the nearby Pykara Falls, which is located about 20 km from Ooty. You can also explore the beautiful Avalanche Lake or take a ride on the heritage Nilgiri Mountain Railway. If you have less time, you can skip the Government Museum and Tea Park. Keep in mind that Ooty can get crowded during peak season (April-June), so plan accordingly.
