If you have more time, you can visit the Avalanche Lake, Pykara Lake, or the Rose Garden. If you have less time, you may skip the Government Museum, Tea Factory and Museum, and head straight to Doddabetta Peak. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry a jacket or shawl as Ooty is generally cold. Don't forget to sample some local sweets and chocolates sold at various shops in the city.
