Later, head to the Mughal Gardens - Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. Admire the exquisite architecture of these beautiful gardens. In the evening, witness the grandeur of the Hazratbal Mosque, a significant religious site for Muslims.
Drive to Gulmarg for a refreshing experience amidst the snowy hills and natural beauty. Take a Gondola cable car ride to get a stunning panoramic view of the valley. Enjoy a few adventurous winter activities like skiing, snowboarding, and snow biking. In the evening, take a stroll around the town and explore the local shops for souvenirs.
Drive to Pahalgam, also known as the Valley of Shepherds. Visit the famous Aru Valley, which is known for its scenic views and trekking trails. Experience a peaceful environment at the Betaab Valley, a beautiful meadow surrounded by snow-capped mountains. In the evening, explore the local shops and try some local food like Rogan Josh and Wazwan for dinner.
Drive to Sonamarg, also known as the Meadow of Gold. Take a horse ride to Thajiwas Glacier and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Head to Zoji La Pass to witness the breathtaking views of snow-clad mountains. After that, visit the Baltal Valley, located at the foot of the Zoji La Pass. In the evening, drive back to Srinagar.
For those with more time, include a visit to the Apharwat Peak in Gulmarg, where you can ride a snowmobile and take a tour of the frozen lake. For those with less time, consider visiting only two places in Srinagar and add an additional day in Gulmarg or Pahalgam.
