You can also rest in the green park surrounding the garden or shop for indigenous rose products at the garden's nursery.
Take a leisurely walk along the grand Ooty lake surrounded by picturesque mountains with soothing cool air. It is an ideal place for a family picnic or boat ride. The lake also offers many shops and food stalls. Gaze at the panoramic view around the lake while indulging in the activities and snacks.
If you have more time, visit the Doddabetta Peak (highest point in Ooty) or the Thread Garden (botanical embroidery creation). If you have less time, remove either the Botanical Garden or Government Rose Garden from the itinerary.
