Chokramudi Peak is a great way to end your day in Munnar. The trek to the top isn't easy, but the sunrise view from the peak is simply stunning. The trek is approximately 8 kilometers round trip, and it takes about 3 hours to reach the top and return. You'll be walking through the lush green forest, passing through the tea plantations, and vegetable patches.
If you have more time, you can add Eravikulam National Park to your itinerary and spot the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. If you have less time, you can skip Kolukkumalai Tea Estate or Chokramudi Peak trek. Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes for trekking and pack a water bottle, sunscreen, and insect repellent.
