Start your trip by visiting the Ooty Lake, a popular tourist spot. Enjoy a leisurely boat ride and take in the scenic views of the surrounding hills. You can also engage in other activities such as fishing or horse riding in the nearby areas. Make sure to bring a camera to capture the beautiful surroundings. The lake is open from 9AM-6:30PM.
On your second day, visit two of the most famous gardens in Ooty. Start with the Botanical Garden, a well-maintained garden that boasts of having thousands of plant species from various countries. The garden also features a fossil tree trunk that is believed to be over 20 million years old. Afterward, head to the nearby Rose Garden to witness a stunning collection of rose varieties. The garden is open from 10AM-6PM.
For your final day, visit Emerald Lake, a pristine high-altitude lake surrounded by lush greenery. This is an ideal place to relax, take walks or even have a picnic. After that, head to the Doddabetta Peak, which is the highest peak in the Nilgiri range. Go trekking to take in the breathtaking landscape and panoramic view from the top. The peak is at a height of 2,623 meters, it is open from 7AM-6:30PM.
