Visit the picturesque Ooty Lake for a boat ride and an amazing view of the mountains surrounding it. You can also enjoy fishing, paddle boating or just relax on the shore. There are several snack stands nearby that offer delicious food.
Head to the Doddabetta Peak, the highest peak in the Nilgiri Mountains, to soak amazing views of the landscape. The 360-degree view from the top of the mountain is breathtaking. It's also a good spot for photography. You can even enjoy some snacks at the local canteen on the peak.
The Ooty Botanical Gardens are a perfect place to relax and enjoy a beautiful display of flowers, plants, and trees. The garden is well-maintained and has several sections like Italian garden, French garden, and lily pond. Don't forget to check out the Toda Tribe huts decorated with traditional motifs.
If you have more time, you can visit the Sims Park, Tea Museum, or go for a trek in the surrounding hills. You can also take a ride on Toy Train to enjoy the scenic beauty of the Nilgiri Hills. If you have less time, skip the Ooty Botanical Gardens or Doddabetta Peak.
