Interact with gentle giants at the Dubare Elephant Camp. A fun place to enjoy elephant feeding, bathing and elephant rides in the river. Later in the day, visit the Nisargadhama Forest, a stunning nature park with bamboo forests and a hanging bridge, an ideal place for families to unwind with boating and other nature-related activities.
The Coorg Wildlife Society is a naturalist's paradise, with an extensive collection of flora and fauna, this place offers a chance for kids to learn and connect with nature. Later in the evening, head to Raja's Seat, a picturesque garden overlooking the valley, with an awe-inspiring view of the sunset.
Visit the popular Omkareshwara Temple, a significant place of worship and a blend of Islamic and traditional Indian architectural styles. The Madikeri Fort is another fascinating place to explore, known for its historical significance. In the evening, experience the delicious local cuisine of Coorg at one of the many famous restaurants like the Coorg cuisine.
If you have additional time, explore more the region by visiting Talacauvery Wildlife Sanctuary, Chelavara Falls, and Tadiandamol Peak for a scenic trek. Do note that some of these places require permits and ample time to travel to. If you have less time, remove Madikeri Fort and Coorg cuisine from the itinerary.
