If you have more time, visit the famous Shree Janardhana Swamy Temple in Varkala. Another great attraction is the Papanasam Beach, famous for its black sand and holy water. If you have less time, skip the Edava beach viewpoint trek. Consider renting a bike or scooter to reach some of the places quicker and avoid the heavy traffic. Be mindful of the local culture and dress moderately while visiting the temple.
