The second day can start with a visit to the Ooty Lake. It's a tranquil place to relax near the water and take a boat ride. The lake's surroundings are breathtaking, and you can enjoy the view while sipping on some local tea. Later head to Doddabetta Peak, the highest peak in the Nilgiril Hills, for a panoramic view of the valley. Ensure to carry some warm clothes as it can get windy at the peak.
If you have more time, you can add Sims Park and Botanical Gardens for Day 1, and Pine Forest and Glenmorgan Tea Estate for Day 2. Foodies can try out the local cuisine at Shinkows and Willy's Coffee Pub. If you have less time, you can combine tea gardens and thread gardens on day 1 and visit the peak and the lake on day 2.
