The 1-km walk offers incredible views of the rolling hills, forests and waterfalls. On a clear day, have a glimpse of the Pambar River and the nearby towns. The walkway is located in the heart of Kodaikanal and is easily accessible.
An artificial lake, Kodaikanal Lake is located in the heart of the town and is one of the major attractions. The calm waters surrounded by hills offer a serene calmness. Take a boat ride through the countryside and observe the natural beauty of Kodaikanal. There are various options of boats to choose from, depending on your preference.
If you have more time, consider visiting the Pine Forest, Silent Valley Viewpoint or Bear Shola Falls for a breathtaking experience. For foodies, try some local delicacies like Batata vada, Dosai, Dosa and finish the day with some South Indian sweets like Halwa and Gulab Jamun.
If you have less time, consider removing Coaker’s Walk from your itinerary. Alternatively, have an early start at Bryant Park and take a taxi to Berijam Lake, a scenic reservoir that is opened for access during specific months of the year only.
