Your Yercaud exploration starts at Yercaud Lake, a man-made lake surrounded by lush green hills. Take a pedal boat ride on the lake or enjoy a refreshing walk along the well-maintained garden beside it. The garden is surrounded by tall trees and has a variety of plants, offering stunning views of nature. Finally, end the evening with street food and shopping around the lake.
Start your day early with a visit to Pagoda Point, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Eastern Ghats and the winding roads that snake through them. Then head to the Silk Farm to learn about the silk-making process and explore the farm's scenic beauty. Lastly, end your day by trekking to the Kiliyur Falls, a beautiful waterfall surrounded by lush greenery, which is truly a treat for the eyes.
If you have more time, pay a visit to the Lady's Seat, Shevaroy Temple and Bear's Cave. However, if you have less time, you can skip Silk Farm as it's a bit far from the other places. Also, remember to carry comfortable walking shoes and a light jacket, as it can get chilly in the evenings.
