With its beautiful intricate designs, stained glass, and ornate decor, the palace is definitely a must-see for honeymooners. You'll be constantly amazed as you walk through the palace's many rooms, each with their own unique decorative features. Be sure to also catch the Sound and Light Show held in the evening as it gives a spectacular display of the palace's history.
The Brindavan Gardens is an enchanting garden located in Srirangapatna, near Mysore. A great place to stroll around, especially during the evenings, the garden is famous for its symmetric design, musical fountains, and colorful lights. A perfect spot for couples to spend some quality time together. To get the most of your visit, consider taking the boat ride which takes you to the middle of the garden for a breathtaking view of the gardens and fountains.
If you have more time, you can add a visit to Chamundi Hill, which offers panoramic views of Mysore and its surroundings. For foodies, a visit to the Mysore Masala Dosa at the famous Mylari restaurant is a must. If you have less time, consider skipping the boat ride at Brindavan Gardens or the Sound and Light Show at Mysore Palace. Do note that photography is not allowed inside Mysore Palace, and you'll need to remove your footwear before entering.
