Begin your adventure in Kodaikanal by visiting Coakers Walk, a serene pathway that offers panoramic views of the surrounding hills. The pathway stretches approximately one kilometre and is bordered by lush greenery on either side. After taking in the views, head over to Pillar Rocks. These towering granite formations, resembling giant pillars, stand at a height of over 400 feet. The view from the top will leave you in awe of nature's beauty.
On the second day, head over to the beautiful Berijam Lake set amid the dense forests of Kodaikanal. The serene lake offers breathtaking views, and you can even indulge in some fishing here. However, make sure you plan your visit on the right day as the lake is open only on specific days of the week. Next, head over to Bear Shola Falls, a stunning waterfall named after bears that used to come here for their daily water source. The falls can be easily reached after a short hike and offers the perfect place to unwind and take a refreshing dip.
If you have more time, you can visit other places like the Kodaikanal Lake, Bryant Park, and the Silver Cascade Falls. For those with less time, prioritize visiting Coakers Walk and Berijam Lake. Remember, Berijam Lake is open only on specific days of the week, so make sure you plan accordingly. Also, make sure to carry comfortable shoes as the terrain can get uneven at times. Lastly, do not forget to carry a camera to capture your memorable moments.
