Start your adventure at the Dubare Elephant Camp, home to around 150 elephants. Here, you can get up close and personal with these gentle giants by observing, petting, and feeding them. You can also participate in their bath time in the nearby river. A must is the elephant ride in the jungle, which will be a ride of a lifetime. The tranquil aura and beautiful scenery that surrounds the camp is an added bonus.
The Barapole River White Water Rafting is one of the most popular and adrenaline-fueled activities in Coorg. The river route is over nine kilometers cutting through thick forests and rocky terrains with grade III and IV rapids that will pump your heart. You can experience the thrill of negotiating the rapids while enjoying the stunning landscapes around you. It's a perfect and daring way to end your trip in Coorg and make the most of your Bachelor's party with your friends.
If you have more time, you can visit the Talakaveri temple, which is the origin of the Cauvery river and has beautiful vistas of the nearby hills. If you have less time, you can remove the elephant ride from the schedule. It still gives you a chance to see and interact with the elephants. Remember to carry a change of clothes for the rafting experience.
