Useful tips

With more time, consider adding a visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels in Ho Chi Minh City or the charming city of Hue. If you have less time, consider skipping Hoi An and spending more time in Ha Long Bay or exploring the city of Hanoi. Remember to dress appropriately when visiting pagodas and temples and avoid shorts or revealing clothing. Also, carry enough cash as many small vendors and taxis still don't accept credit cards.
