3-Day Itinerary for Yercaud: Enjoy the Nature

  1. Day 1: Pagoda Point

    Pagoda Point is a viewpoint situated atop a pile of hills with a characteristic pagoda structure. This viewpoint provides a magnificent panoramic view of the nearby towns and valleys. It is a perfect spot for photography, with occasional monkeys adding to the fun.

  2. Day 2: Emerald Lake
    17 minutes (6.4 km) from Pagoda Point

    Emerald Lake is named after its exquisite water, which seems gemstone emerald in color. Wide ranges of trees with cool air attract tourists to this lake which also offers boating facility. There are few food stalls beside the lake where one can relish some typical south Indian snacks.

  3. Day 3: Kiliyur Falls
    18 minutes (7.1km) from Emerald Lake

    Kiliyur Falls is a waterfall situated around 3.5 km from the Yercaud Lake. This waterfall gushes down from 300 feet and creates a marvellous view with its forceful drone. Trekking is a popular option here and should only be attempted by trekkers who are well rested.

For those who have more time, Government Silk Farm & Lake Deer Park are places worth visiting. Kottachedu Teak Forest and Lady's Seat can also be added if interested. However, be cautious of not overfilling your itinerary and stressing out. Previously checking the closing of these places and exact timings is always helpful in creating a smooth travel experience.
