Exploring Kerala in 5 Days

  1. Day 1: Fort Kochi
    1 hour 22 minutes (38.7 km) from Cochin International Airport

    Fort Kochi is a historic town in Kochi, known for its European architecture and a popular destination for tourists. Visit St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Nets and have some street snacks at Princess Street.

  2. Day 2: Munnar
    4-hour drive (130km) from Fort Kochi

    Munnar is a hill station and a popular honeymoon destination in Kerala. Visit the Eravikulam National Park, a wildlife sanctuary which offers a panoramic view of the tea plantations. Visit the tea museum and get to know how they produce a variety of tea.

  3. Day 3: Alleppey
    4-hour drive (138km) from Munnar

    Alleppey is known as the “Venice of the East” because of its beautiful lagoons, beaches and backwaters. Hire a houseboat and witness the enchanting beauty of Vembanad Lake, explore the backwaters and enjoy a sumptuous lunch on board.

  4. Day 4: Kovalam Beach
    3-hour drive (161km) from Alleppey

    Kovalam has three beautiful beaches fringed with coconut trees. Take a leisurely walk on the beaches, indulge in water sports or just enjoy the picturesque beauty of the sunset. Later, visit the nearby lighthouse and enjoy the view of the ocean.

  5. Day 5: Thiruvananthapuram
    30 minutes (13.5km) from Kovalam Beach

    Thiruvananthapuram has numerous palaces, temples, and museums of cultural and historical significance. Visit the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, a temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Also, checkout the Napier Museum, Thiruvananthapuram Zoo and Shanghumukham Beach.
